Regrouting and refreshing

Often a tile installation is structurally fine but just looks tired — grout that's stained, discolored, or cracked makes the whole surface look old even when the tile is good. Regrouting can dramatically refresh a floor, backsplash, or shower for a fraction of replacement cost: we remove the failing grout, clean the joints, and apply fresh grout, and we can re-caulk the changes-of-plane and reseal as needed. Sometimes what looks like a grout problem is really a failing installation — loose tile across an area, recurring cracks, or a leaking shower means the substrate or waterproofing has failed, and regrouting won't fix it.
